Pointers For Adding A Little Extra Distance On Your Drive
I was talking with my friend Mark Hesemann about how the key to improving your golf game is accomplished by doing more than hitting the course as often as possible. If you do not take the time to learn some great golf tips, you are sure to continue to do the same things over and over that you do not like the results from. These tips were written to help you improve your game. When putting, imagine that your putter is like the pendulum of a grandfather clock. It’s like an extension of your body that moves free. Almost no force needs to be exerted in a putt. Simply lift the club to the desired distance on the pendulum swing and that let your arm muscles go. For every inch back that you lift your putter back, you will get a foot of distance from the golf ball. Before heading out for your first round with a new pair of golf shoes, take the time to break them in. Don’t head out for a five hour day out walking the course, only to find that you are developing blisters because you did not take the time to make your shoes ready for play.In order to improve your drive you want to start by taking short consistent strokes and focus on hitting a straight shot, even if it is only for fifty yards. Once you have a consistent technique and consistent fifty yard shot start swinging a bit further back and a bit harder. Then don’t hit it any harder till the seventy yard is straight, the one hundred, and so forth.Take the tips that were in this article to the course with you. Follow them closely and you are sure to benefit from the tips. Practice the things that you have learned, and you will surely enjoy the better game that you have when you are out on the greens.
